I don't think it was a sensation-induced color. My eyes were closed. Yet, mystical experience has been described as "exactly the opposite". No violence was involved. There was a positive verbal communication, but the image was like a red-toned photograph. I know of the Hindu red angel of death, but that doesn't seem the whole of it. I'm wondering how color registers in the brain and if "it" can be activated by non-visual means. I guess so, but how in this case? Infrared? Thanks for you comment. (I know I must sound nuts.)
