Re: Re: Black is the absence of color Posted by lakeview academy on Wed, 21 Jan 2004 09:51:54. true black is the absance of all color. black can't reflect light so it cannot contain color. the black we see is a pigment of black. why can't anyone see that. mixing all the paintys together to make that pigment of black doesn't mean that is the presance of all color you are a moron if you think white is the absance of all color. white light is made of pure blue, pure red, and pure yellow light all mixed together. if you take white light and send it through a prism you see the full color spectrum on the other side. so i am right!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
